John Firm Turner, 79, of McMinnville, Tennessee passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday June 13 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Born on Sept. 22, 1935 he was one of 11 children born to Firm and Nora Turner.He will be deeply missed by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Turner; his two daughters, Rene Wells, (David), and Tanya Hall, (Fred) and his two sons John and Greg Turner. He was loved by his seven grandchildren, John David Wells, Ryan Woodlee, Zachary Wells, Ally Woodlee, Elizabeth Wells, Matthew Wells and Paytan Hall.
