John Adam Youngblood, 83, of McMinnville passed from this life on Wednesday, March 19 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.He was born Friday, Aug. 1, 1930 in Morrison and was the son of the late William Youngblood and the late Mae Bell Bowman. He proudly served his country for 26 years and was a veteran of Vietnam, Korea, and World War II.He is survived by his wife, Delilah Youngblood; daughter, Patsy Y. Gaddy and husband Julius Breland of Walterboro, S.C.; two grandchildren, Benjamin B. Gaddy and Cheyenne L Gaddy of Columbia, S.C.; sister, Emma Jean Hullett of Morrison; special cousin, Billy Joe and Carolyn Youngblood, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Jerry Lusk officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Smartt Station.
