Mr. Joe Franklin “Jodie” Hickey, 75, of McMinnville died Tuesday, July 11 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville.He was born Dec. 22, 1941, in Warren County, was a retired carpenter and a member of Pioneer Community Baptist Church. Mr. Hickey was preceded in death by parents Albert Franklin and Minnie Pearl Whiteaker Hickey, sister Velma Talbert, and brothers Phillip and Danny Hickey.Survivors include his wife of 51 years Linda Hickey, children Brian Scott Hickey, Angela Marie Hickey, and Phillip Lavern Hickey, grandchildren Whitney Beck and Jacob Hickey, and sister Joyce Dean Felty and her husband Kenneth “Stork” Felty. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 14, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
