Morrison resident and Grundy County native Jimmy T. Rollings, 66, died Nov. 19 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville after an extended illness.Retired from A.O. Smith after 15 years, he attended the Church of God at Hubbard’s Cove and was the son of the late Eunice P. Higgins and John R. Rollings.He is survived by his wife, Mildred Campbell Rollings; daughters and son-in-law, Shannon M. and Sean Parton of Morrison, and Telena A. Fults of Altamont; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy L. and Michelle Rollins of Morirson, Jimmy Rance Rollins of New Jersey and Dewayne Rollings of Altamont; sisters, Helen Adams, Brenda G. Smith and Linda G. Glenn, all of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph L. and Mary Jo Rollings of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and grandchildren, Luna Dawn Rose Parton, Timothy Whitman and P.J. Rollings. He was preceded in death by sister, Rachael Crosslins and brother, Robert Rollings.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Daniel Campbell officiating.
