Jimmie Overall Hulett, 75, of Morrison died Wednesday, March 5 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville after a two-week illness.
She was born in Warren County on July 25, 1938, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a faithful member of Caney Branch the Baptist Church. Mrs. Hulett was preceded in death by her parents Bright and Minnie Overall, her husband of 52 years Carl L. Hulett, and sisters Katherine Miller and Nadine Cantrell.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Sandy) Hulett; daughters, Melissa Orrick, and Carla Talbert; sister, Irene (Ewing) Collier; sister-in-law, Christine Bouldin; grandchildren, Craig Sweeton, Jonathan (Demita) Sweeton, Callie (Levi) Grissom, Madison Orrick, and Amanda (Jose) Serta, and great-grandchildren Colin, Keeley, Kyler, Macey, Conner and Carlyn Sweeton, Rozzlyn Myers, and soon-to-be, Lane Grissom. Many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Chris Anderson, elder John Gipson, and elder Leonard Herman will officiate. Interment will follow at Caney Branch Cemetery. The Hulett family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 8 p.m., and again Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
