Morrison resident and Warren County native Jerry Lynn Simmons, 47, was born Dec. 23, 1964 and died March 11 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness.An employee of Mike’s Tree Service, he was the son of Carroll Lynn “Chunky” and Martha Cox Simmons of McMinnville. He was married Aug. 9, 1986 to Rhonda Stair Simmons of Morrison. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two sons, Allyn (Crystal) Hodges of Knoxville, and Andrew Simmons of Morrison; daughter, Amanda Simmons of Morrison, and three grandchildren, Dominic Hodges, Allyssa Hodges and Kailynn Walker.Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. today in High’s Chapel with Gary Stair officiating.
