McMinnville resident and Christian County, Ky., native Jerry Lynn Butler, 71, was born March 7, 1944 and died Feb. 22 at his residence following an extended illness. A retired police chief with Las Animas, Co., he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Helen Long Butler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Fred Butler.
