James Tittsworth, 86, of McMinnville died Friday, April 7 at Raintree Manor Nursing Center in McMinnville. He was born Sept. 25, 1930, in Athens, Ala., and was a retired laborer in the construction business, served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War, and was preceded in death by his parents James M. and Louella Adcock Tittsworth and a brother-in-law Forest Wilson. Survivors include his sister Betty Wilson, niece Vicky (George) Spellings, great-nephews Ryan (Julie) Jones and Jonathan (Carrie) Jones, and great-great nieces and nephews Audrey, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Maria and Elizabeth Jones.
