McMinnville resident and Grundy County native James Preston Bouldin, 66, was born Feb. 2, 1949 and died Sept. 27 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness.A retired supervisor from Federal Mogul and a member of McMinnville Independent Baptist Church, he was the son of the late James A. and Elsie Inez Childers Bouldin. He was married Sept. 29, 1966 to Eula Jean Farless Bouldin, who preceded him in death April 2, 2011. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brother Keith Bouldin; and sister Rachael King.He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Eddie Hale, Gena and Jay Parsons, and Missy and Josh Baxter, all of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Amber and Dustin Hale, Destiny, Austin and Savannah Parsons, and Abigail Baxter; two great-grandchildren, Kailyn and Jaxson Parsons; sister, Betty King of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.Funeral service was held Tuesday in High’s Chapel with Johnny Haston officiating.
