Morrison resident and Warren County native James Haston Walker Sr., 77, was born Aug. 28, 1936 and died Dec. 17 at his residence following an extended illness.The owner of Manchester Wholesale Supply Company, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Mattie Haston Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Audrey Walker.He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James H. and Krystal Walker Jr. of McMinnville, and Derrell Ray and Melinda Walker of Morrison; four granddaughters and spouses, Kelah and John Guthrie of Manchester, Ciara Walker of Morrison, Twan Majors of the Irving College community, and Jessica and Matt Matkin of Jacksonville, Fla.; and six great-grandchildren.A graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Spencer Town Cemetery in Van Buren County, with Saul Eady Jr., officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at High’s.
