James E. Myers, 44, of McMinnville died unexpectedly Saturday, June 22 at River Park Hospital..He was born in Altamont on Dec. 27, 1969, a son of Anne L. (Lane) Myers and the late Richard F. Myers.He was the husband of Cassie S. (Messick) Myers of Morrison. He attended the Baptist Church and worked as a truck driver.He is survived by his wife; son, Chase R. Myers of Morrison; two sisters, Brenda L., and husband Ricky McVey of Bristol, Va.; Christie C. Myers of McMinnville; brother, Richard G., and wife Michele Myers of Fayetteville; niece, Lily Myers of McMinnville; two nephews, Jacob and Christopher Clark of Bristol, Va.He was preceded in death by his father, Richard F. Myers; grandparents, Harvey and Irene Myers, Jess and Ether Lane; two aunts, Carolyn Sears and Grace Perry, one aunt Jewell Hillis; and two uncles, Earl Harrison Myers and William Myers.Funeral service was held Tuesday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with Clayton Jones officiating.
