Irma Joyce Dearing, 91

Gallatin resident and Marshall County, Ala., native Irma Joyce Dearing, 91, was born Oct. 2, 1921 and died Jan. 6 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin following a sudden illness.A retired bookkeeper with Towe Realty and a member of First United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Elijah and Nora Belle Gerron Woosley Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Edward Dearing Jr., and Charles Elijah Dearing; and one sister, Lois Mae Altizer.She is survived by three daughters and son-in-law, Charlotte Bailey of Gallatin, Linda Joyce Duke of Manchester, and Nancy J. and Gary Womack of Nashville, one son and daughter-in-law, Alan Edward and Connie Dearing of Sparta, and eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.A graveside service and interment was held Tuesday at Mt.
