Howard “David” Hobbs, 66, of Manchester died Monday, April 3, at his home in Manchester.
David was born on Saturday, Aug. 5, 1950 in McMinnville to the late Homer and Hazel (Higgins) Hobbs. David was a member of McMinnville First Free Will Baptist Church and was a machinist where he retired at AEDC in Tullahoma. He was a Master Mason in Highland Lodge No. 0214.
Surviving are three sons, William C. Hobbs of Manchester, Johnathan Hobbs and wife Jennifer of McMinnville, James C. Hobbs and wife Mary of Arizona, one sister, Brenda Brown and husband, Bobby of McMinnville; five grandchildren, William E. Hobbs, Abel Ray Hobbs of McMinnville, Coby Hobbs of Shelbyville, Carter Hobbs and Casey Hobbs of Georgia.
Funeral service for Mr. David Hobbs will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 7, at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home Chapel in McMinnville with Bill Eversole officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of the service at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.
