Rock Island resident Hope Clark, 89, was born Dec. 1, 1924 and died Aug. 29 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired secretary with Firestone Tire and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Bennie Mae Stanley Haston. She was married to Clifford Ray Clark, who preceded her in death May 17, 1994.
