Henry Lane Perkins, 75, of McMinnville died Monday, Sept. 5, at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville.Lane was born Monday, Jan. 6, 1941 in McMinnville, the son of the late Henry Perkins and Ella Crisp Perkins. He is survived by his wife Brenda Lemoine Perkins of McMinnville, seven daughters Valerie Womack of Detroit, Mich., Kellie Whitaker and Chris of Murfreesboro, Jalane Grayson and Jesse of McMinnville, Angie Perkins of Murfreesboro, Mandi Perkins of McMinnville, Shana Perkins and Clay of McMinnville, Michelle Eddings and Lafredick of McMinnville, six sons Troy Perkins and Lisa of McMinnville, Damon Perkins of McMinnville, Darin Perkins of McMinnville, Alan Perkins and Shay of McMinnville, Nathan Perkins and Trisha of McMinnville, Michael Perkins and Candace of McMinnville, 20 grandchildren, one great-grandson, brother James Perkins and Mickie of Morrison, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter Amber Grayson, and two sisters Annie Mai Bean and Helen Davis.Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.
