McMinnville resident and Grundy County native Helen Louise Patrick, 97, was born June 25, 1923 and passed away Nov. 5 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville following a brief illness.
A homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Earlene Cathcart Killian. She was married to Clifton O. Patrick, who preceded her in death in 2007. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son Jimmy Mullican, brothers Jim Houston Killian and Freeman Killian, sister Maxine Anderson, and one great-granddaughter.
She is survived by seven children and spouses, Tommy Sue Nunley, Floressia and Ricky Wanamaker, Eric and Stella Patrick, Nelda and Bill Wanamaker and Vicky and Terry Powell, all of McMinnville, Billy Mack Patrick of Morrison, and Elton Patrick of Spencer, daughter-in-law, Brenda Mullican of McMinnville, 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren, sister Frances Campbell of McMinnville, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County with Ronnie Powell officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
