Helen J. Lynn, 70, of the Hubbard’s Cove community in Grundy County, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, at her daughter’s home in Greenville, S.C. She was born in Grundy County on Oct. 14, 1945 to Clarence and Lydia Mae Fults Northcutt, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Clark Lynn; sister, Faye Levan; brothers, Joe, Speakly, Dave, Claudie, Malvin, Milburn, Clayburn, Little Willard and Loyd Edward Northcutt.She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly and husband, Steve Lowe of Greenville; son Kelly Lynn of Morrison; sister, Edith “Blondell” and Andy Lockhart of Altamont; grandchildren, Steven and Ethan Lowe; several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Layne Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow at Mount Zion Cemetery. Visitation is 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Layne Funeral Home in Altamont.Layne Funeral Home of Altamont is in charge of arrangements.
