McMinnville resident and Siler City, N.C., native Hazel Faye Hawkins, 74, was born March 24, 1942 and died July 31 at her residence following a sudden illness.A retired CNA, she was the daughter of the late Lonie B. and Alta Green Nixon Hawkins. She is survived by two nieces, Kathryn Miller and Betty Harmon, both of McMinnville; and several great-nieces and great-nephews and their children.Inurnment will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Cemetery. There will be no visitation or service at High’s.
