Hattie Pearl Bess Patterson, 89, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native died May 17 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. She was a homemaker, member of First Baptist Church and daughter of the late Gaston Glade and Sarah Indiana Short Bess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Betty Blackshaw; and great-grandson Joshua Landtroop.
