Hattie Lucille Henegar Webb, 95, of McMinnville passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 15.
A native of Warren County and the daughter of the late Essie and Charlie Medley. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Corder Henegar and Billy R. Webb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Danny Henegar, siblings Judy Watson, Kathryn Clingman, C.D. Medley, Tom Medley, Clyde Wayne Medley, and Doug Medley.
Lucille is survived by her sons Perry Henegar of Thompson Station, Michael Grant (Judy) Henegar of Murfreesboro, stepdaughter Beverly Gilley of McMinnville, siblings Carolyn Taylor of McMinnville, Kay (Charlie) Jennings of Woodbury, Melba Young of Murfreesboro, Cherrie (Larry) Fitzgerald of Knoxville, and Larry Medley of McMinnville, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, and several nieces and also survive.
She was a member of the Earleyville Church of Christ, and a Sunday school teacher for many years. In her earlier years, she worked at the shirt and garment factories, and later for Sullivan’s Department Store.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel with service following at 3 p.m. Bro. Dan Jones will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The funeral service will be jointly held for both Hattie Lucille Henegar Webb and the memorial service of her late husband Billy Ray Webb, who died on Jan. 27, 2022.
