McMinnville resident and Spencer native Mrs. Hattie Jo Rhea, 77, died Wednesday, April 13 at River Park Hospital after an extended illness.She was born April 1, 1934, the daughter of the late Joe B. and Leoma (Fults) Johnson. She was a member of Missionary Baptist Church and was a housewife and nursery worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandchildren Robert Bratcher and Cynthia Jewell Bonner.She is survived by her husband of 60 years Jewell Rhea of McMinnville, daughters Deborah and husband Jimmy Bonner, Frances E. and husband James Bratcher, all of McMinnville, sons Bobby Rhea and Wallace J. Rhea and fiancée Lisa Scott, all of McMinnville, sister Jackie C. Roberts of McMinnville, grandchildren Helen Bonner, Jimmy Bonner Jr., Felix Jewell Bratcher, Kimberly Locke, Harley Rhea, Brittany Rhea, and Wallace Jewell Rhea Jr., 18 great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.Funeral service is Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Bro.
