McMinnville resident and Coffee County native Harvey Benjamin “Ben” Lowry, 72, died unexpectedly Oct. 3 at his home.A retired plumber with ABC Plumbing and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Clemmie Youngblood Lowry Patrick of McMinnville, and the late Algeron Lowry. He was preceded in death by sisters, Patricia Julian and Virginia Mae Klassy; and brothers, Franklin, Waymon, J.W. and Roger Lowry.He is survived by daughter, Delena Gabel of California; son, Kenneth Lowry of Colorado; brother, Howard Lowry of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Cemetery with Brandon Lowry and Slayden Rogers officiating. No visitation is scheduled at the funeral home.
