Harry Laymon Earle, 85, of McMinnville died Saturday, April 23 at River Park Hospital.He was born Dec. 9, 1925 in Warren County and was a retired machinist with Diamond-Shamrock Chemical Plant, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Earle was preceded in death by parents Orion and Florence Perry Earle Sr., and his brothers Grant, Leonard, Jonah, Joe Wayne, Morris, and Orion P. Earle Jr.Survivors include his wife of 43 years Betty Earle, son Alvin Dale Earle, special daughter Rebecca Sweeton, special friend Tim Owens, and brothers Robert and Dennis Roy Earle.Per the request of Mr. Earle, he was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
