Mrs. Hallie Jean Glenn, 86, of McMinnville died Monday, Feb. 28, at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro.
She was born in Warren County on Nov. 2, 1935, and was a member of Dibrell Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Hallie was affectionately known as “Memaw” and enjoyed water skiing, working in the garden, and doing nursery work. She had worked at General Shoe, Tri-Tech Molding, and as a bookkeeper at Glenn Nursery. She was preceded in death by her parents Isaac Daniel and Hallie Mai Adcock Haley, sons Kent Daniel Glenn and Ronald Edward Glenn, and brothers Isaac Dean Haley, Dwin Parker Haley, and Bobby Lynn Haley.
Mrs. Glenn is survived by her husband of 67 years James E. Glenn, son Michael “Mike” Glenn, sister Peggy Foster, grandchildren Sheena (Matt) Cotten, Shay (Summer) Glenn, Amey Danyell (John) Clark, and Brandon (Annie) Glenn, great-grandchildren Greyson, Easton, Miller, Tristen, Isaac, Greffen, Hannah, and Haley, daughter-in-law Hershey Glenn, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and interment are scheduled at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at Webb Cemetery. Andy Rogers, Brandon Glenn, and Sheena Cotten will officiate. The Glenn family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. noon on Thursday at McMinnville Funeral Home.
