Grace Prater Starkey, 89, of Nashville (formerly of McMinnville) died Saturday, Feb. 6 at Westmoreland Care & Rehab Center in Westmoreland. She was born March 9, 1926, in DeKalb County and was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Starkey was preceded in death by parents, James Blane and Laura Ethel Young Prater; husband, Leonard Brown Starkey; sisters, Sarah Tate, and Alma Gribble, and brothers, Gentry, J.R., Charles, and Bill Prater.
