Gordon Fults, 86

Gordon Fults, 86, a McMinnville resident and Grundy County native, was born April 2, 1931 and died Dec. 16 in Raintree Manor following an extended illness.

He was retired from Powermatic, a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, and son of the late Tom and Alkie Scott Fults. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Bobbie Turner and Dorothy Fults; and brother Jesse Fults.

Mr. Fults was married Sept. 20, 1969 to Linda Wallace Fults, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Lisa Fults of Hendersonville; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Wilma Fults of Morrison; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Melvin and Zera Wallace of Huntsville, Ala., and Carl and Vickie Wallace of Crossville. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 18, at High’s Chapel with Tony Lawrence and Ray Weddington officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
