Ellinwood, Kan., resident Gladys T. Muller, 94, died July 30 at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood.
Born on Oct. 3, 1916 in rural Seward, Kan., she was the daughter of the late Wilbert William and Josephine Sims Dewey. She was a homemaker and a certified nurse aide at Ellinwood District Hospital for over 20 years. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ and the Sunshine Club, both of Ellinwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Muller, in 1989, brothers Devon, Harold and Wayne Dewey, and sisters Venita Neulin and Marjorie Keller.
She is survived by son Gary Ray Muller of Ellinwood, sister Marie Rogers of Phoenix, Ariz., three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is Friday at Kimple Funeral Chapel in Ellinwood with Rev. Katrina Palan officiating. Burial will follow at Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Immanuel United Church of Christ.
