McMinnville resident and Warren County native Geraldine Roberts, 59, was born April 29, 1957 and died March 20 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.A retired teacher with the Warren County and Grundy County School System and a member of Philadelphia The Baptist Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Rex Grizzle and Louise Hawkins Grizzle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Patricia Grizzle Keyser.She was married June 9, 1986 to Jerry Roberts of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children and spouses, Houston and Natasha Roberts of Sparta, and Keri and Russell Rutledge III of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Brandelyn and Kaylyn Roberts, Trevor Rutledge, and Eve and Tony Poss; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Terry and Sissy Roberts of McMinnville; nieces Becky Hobbs of McMinnville, Christy Evans (Chris Robinson) of Smithville, and Savannah Roberts of McMinnville; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friends and family, Tim and Christee Smith of Palmer.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 23, in High’s Chapel with Jeff Hill to officiate.
