Mrs. Geraldine J. Tanner, 91, of McMinnville died Tuesday, March 6, at NHC Health Care in Sparta. She was born March 3, 1927, in White County, and was a retired store owner of Tanner’s Grocery Store. Mrs. Tanner was preceded in death by parents Buck and Annie Mae Craig Jordan, husband Thomas Mason Tanner, son Eddie Shultz, daughter Diana Prater, brothers Elmore Jordan and Donald Jordan, sisters Gladys Smith, Kate Whillhoite, Maige Geer, and Edith Henry, and stepdaughter Joan Ray.
