George McKinley Dodson Sr., 97, of Rocky River passed from this life Saturday, Jan. 6, at NHC HealthCare in McMinnville. George was born Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1920 in Granite, Okla., he was the son of the late Samuel Dodson and Della Sells Dodson. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Baptist Church and a Sunday school teacher.
