McMinnville resident and Olive Hill, Ky., native Gary Randolph Wells, 75, was born June 4, 1938 and died Jan. 17 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.Retired from Hobart Corporation, a United States Army veteran and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Roy and Mary Roberts Wells. He was married to Clara Mae Lewis Wells, who preceded him in death. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Marshall Wells; stepmother, Ruby Wells; and son-in-law, Randy Keeler.He is survived by daughter, Carla Jo Keeler of McMinnville; grandson, Matt Keeler of McMinnville; two sisters-in-law, Alice Wells of Ohio, and Deloris Bodey and husband Johnny of Ohio; nieces, Tonya Wampler and husband David of Venice, Fla., and Jennifer Wells; and nephews, Todd Bodey and wife Terrie of Springfield, Ohio, Brian Wells and Bruce Wells.A memorial will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at Westwood Church of Christ.High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
