Frank Everett Evans, 70, was born Sept. 17, 1951 in Nashville and passed from this life on May 20 at his home with family by his side following an extended illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Edna Evans of Sparta, Melva McCombs of Los Angeles, CA, and brother Ronald Evans.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Wanda Evans of Rock Island, sisters Elaine Evans Akers of McMinnville, and Jan (Dale) Brown of Gering, NE, daughters, Dana Evans of McMinnville, Kimberly (Michael) Pacey of Lebanon, OR and Linda Russell of Lake Balboa, CA, grandchildren, Zachary (Shalyn) Miller of Tallahassee, Fla., Christopher Hennessee of Cookeville, William Hennessee of McMinnville, Nathan (Rebecca) Pacey, Kevin Pacey and Justin Pacey, all of Lebanon, OR, Jasmine Chang of Las Vegas, NV, and Carson Russell of Bullhead City, AZ; great-grandson, Gavin Farr and great-granddaughter Kinsley Pacey. Several nieces and nephews throughout the U.S. also survive.

Mr. Evans was a member of First United Methodist Church in Picayune, MS, He attended the New Bybee Chapel United Methodist Church in Rock Island. He enjoyed multiple hobbies, jobs and interests throughout his lifetime including construction, carpentry, gardening, farming and fishing.

There will be a memorial gathering at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home on Saturday, May 28 from 3 to 5 p.m. for family and friends to pay their respects. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Online condolences may be made at gardensofmemoryfuneralhome.com.
