Frances Odell Simpson, 94, of Morrison died Monday, June 12, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. She was born Sept. 3, 1922, in Waverly, was a retired employee of Carrier Corporation and a member of Morrison Church of Christ. Mrs. Simpson was preceded in death by parents William and Mattie Carnell Hemby, her husband, George D. Simpson Sr., son George D. Simpson, Jr., and all of her sisters and brothers.Survivors include her children, William J. (Brenda) Simpson, Larry A. (Carol) Simpson, and Robert F. (Connie) Simpson, daughter-in-law, Shirley Simpson, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
