Frances Kay Brady Gribble, 73, a Rock Island resident and Warren County native, was born April 4, 1945 and passed away Jan. 22 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following an extended illness.

She was a retired caregiver, member of Hebron Church of Christ, and daughter of the late Marcus and Lucy Barnes Brady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by former husband, Bobby Jewell Gribble; two brothers, Buck and Tony Brady; and sister Barbara Knight.

Survivors include son Dale Gribble (Tara Jane Atnip) of Rock Island; granddaughter Jessica Lauren Gribble of Rock Island; step-granddaughter Preston Grace Summers of Smithville; two sisters, Lillian Baker and Wanda Scott, both of McMinnville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry and Tammie Gribble of Rock Island; and nieces and nephews Tammy Fults, Brad Knight, Maury Brady, Luke Brady and Brandon Scott.

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at High’s Chapel with Kenneth Mansell to officiate. Interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and 9 a.m. Thursday until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
