Frances Dean “Sally” Sistrunk, 79

Frances Dean “Sally” Sistrunk, 79, a Warren County resident and native, was born December 14, 1939 and passed away April 16, 2019 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.

She was a homemaker, member of the Church of Christ and daughter of the late Harmon and Alma Turner Pennington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Thomas Howard Payne and King Edward Robertson; and son-in-law, Earl Thomas Adams.

Mrs. Sistrunk was married Aug. 30, 1990 to Jim Sistrunk, who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children, Houston Randall and Priscilla Hobbs of McMinnville, Cindy Adams of McMinnville, Marcus William and Catherine Hobbs of Shreveport, LA, Jimmy Sistrunk, Jr. of McMinnville, Maria Phillips of McMinnville, Susan Smith and Aaron Schmidt of Manchester; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at Mt. View Cemetery with Kevin Key to officiate. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at High’s. Online condolences may be made at
