Florence Marie Keeton, 78, of McMinnville died Wednesday, Jan. 23, at her residence after an extended illness.She was born in Smithville on Sept. 23, 1934, a daughter of the late Pauline N. (Cantrell) and Hobart J. Stewart. She was a homemaker and a member of Gath Baptist Church.She is survived by two daughters, Dianne S. Milstead of McMinnville; and Tammy H., and husband Mike McClain of McMinnville; sister, Mattie Sue Vaughn of McMinnville; two brothers, George M. Stewart of McMinnville, Sid, and wife Sophia Stewart of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Inez Cope Stewart of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Monica Marie Milstead, Melanie Renee’ Milstead, Courtney Anne McClain Rutherford and husband Jason, Caitlin Mica’ McClain Locke and husband Bradley, three great-grandchildren, Madison Paige Jones, Tristan Stewart Stone, Sarah Kate Rutherford; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of special friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Hobart Jennings and Pauline (Cantrell) Stewart; one brother Paul Jennings Stewart; and two sisters, Katy R. Tomlin and Betty Ruth Maxwell.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Ray Gilder and Ricky Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at DeKalb Memorial Gardens in Smithville.
