Flora Imogene Moredock, 92, a Jacksonville, Fla., resident and Timothy, Tenn., native was born Sept. 22, 1926 and passed away Nov. 21 following an extended illness.

She was a homemaker and daughter of the late Pendy and Estie Velma Bilbrey Peterman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Cleston Lee Moredock; brothers Lester Howard Peterman and Ken Peterman; and sister Maxine Terry.

Mrs. Moredock is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Rosemary Moredock of Jacksonville; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Pat Doolittle of Jacksonville; four grandchildren and spouses, Justin Moredock of Raleigh, N.C., Devin and Cathy Barber of Jacksonville, Eric and Brandi Doolittle of Columbus, Ga., and Robert and Ella Doolittle Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif.; seven great-grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law Randall and Mary Ruth Peterman of Timothy; sisters-in-law Anita Peterman of Gallatin, and Pat Peterman of Charleston, S.C.; and numerous other family members.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at High’s Chapel with Kevin Deason to officiate. Interment will follow at Viola Cemetery. Visitation will be 8 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
