Fana Alberta Myers Mitchell, 70

Fana Alberta Myers Mitchell, 70, a McMinnville resident and Van Buren County native, died Jan. 1 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness.
She was an employee of Nana's Restaurant for the past 11 years and had previously worked at Stewart's Luncheonette and Century. She was a member of the Church of Christ and daughter of the late Hollis D. and Electra Alberta Russell Myers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Kelton Myers.
Ms. Mitchell is survived by two sons, Rev. Steve (Robin) Taylor of Pikeville, and Michael Taylor of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Destiny (Wesley) Bouget, Levi (Paige) Taylor, and Brayton Taylor; great-grandchild, Abigail Taylor; two brothers, Marvin Myers of Smithville, and Avery (Kay) Myers of McMinnville; nieces and nephews, Lisa (Mike) Goolsby, Marvin H. Myers Jr., Rodney (Michelle) Myers, Fallon Myers, Avery (Gina) Myers, and Teresa (Shawn) Roberts.
Funeral service was Saturday, Jan. 3, at High's Chapel with Tracy Curtis officiating. Interment followed at Laurel Creek Cemetery in Van Buren County.
High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
