McMinnville resident and Grundy County native Everett Pritchett, 71, died April 16 at his home after a one-year illness.A field service computer technician with Compro Computer Mfg. and a member of Dayspring Community Church, he served his country in the U.S. Army.The son of the late Judd Pritchett and Lorene Sanders Valimont, he was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas, Charles and Kenneth Valimont.He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Pritchett; sons and daughters-in-law, Daryl and Lisa Pritchett, Duane and Sherry Pritchett, all of McMinnville; grandchildren, Heather Deskins and Cody Pritchett, both of Smyrna, Laura (Jonathan) Barnes, Evan and Samantha Pritchett, all of McMinnville; great-grandchildren, Destiny and Jaiden Deskins; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Connie Beck of Titusville, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Jacob Ellis of Guntersville, Ala.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at High’s Chapel with Rex Boles officiating. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery at Hills Creek.
