Evelyn Marie Watts, 73, of McMinnville died Thursday, Dec. 20 at River Park Hospital after an extended illness.She was born in McMinnville March 29, 1939, a daughter of the late Eunice (Dennis) and Truman Bess. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a self-employed financial advisor.She is survived by her husband, Larry W. Watts of McMinnville; daughter, Tiffany Watts of McMinnville; four sons, Garry Davis of the Philippines, Ricky Davis of McMinnville, Timothy Davis Weeki Wachee of Florida, Toby Watts of McMinnville; special brother, Jack Holland of McMinnville; fellow musicians and friends, aunts, Bernice Fresso of McMinnville, and Dorothy Cholpek of Georgia; father and mother in-law, James and Doris Watts of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins and many friends; six grandchildren, Christinia Marie Davis, Jeremiah Davis, Dalton Davis, Rebecca Marie Davis, Samantha Davis, and Lake Sadlon, and two great-grandchildren, Jalynn Marie Davis and Summer Davis.She was preceded in death by first husband, C.H. Davis; parents, Truman and Eunice (Dennis) Bess; one daughter, Tinia Marie Davis; one grandson, Brandon Davis; two sisters, Cynthia Womack and Louise Stiles; and grandparents, Sam and Crete Dennis, and John and Ella Bess.Funeral service will be held at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. today. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Smartt.
