McMinnville resident and Murfreesboro native Eloise Dunn Eaton, 89, was born Dec. 14, 1926 and died Aug. 25 at Alive Hospice in Nashville following a brief illness.A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Orman Lytle and Elizabeth Almetia Warren Dunn. She was married July 20, 1946 to James R. Eaton Sr., who preceded her in death Sept. 6, 2007. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Jim Eaton; five sisters, Thelma Oftelie, Elizabeth Hansen, Frankie Walker, Mary Eaton and Almetia Cunningham; and five brothers, Jack, Sonny, Hugh, Walter “Bub” and Bill Dunn.She is survived by four children and spouses, Joe and Cathy Eaton of Collierville, Jeff and Lisa Eaton of McMinnville, Jack and Sue Eaton of Centerton, AR, and Jane Ann and Kenny Pryor of McMinnville; daughter-in-law, Deborah Eaton Keeling of San Diego, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue Carter of McMinnville, Goodie and Bobbie Webb of Morrison, and Barbara Carman of Kingston; brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Betty Dunn of McMinnville; and sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirley and Jerry Bost of McMinnville and Sara Kell of McMinnville.Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with family to officiate.
