Elizabeth “Liz” Doyle Williams, 58, of Walling died Sept. 27 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Sept. 14, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas to Charles Edgar Doyle Jr., and Maude Sue Doyle.
She graduated from Austin Peay with her RN degree in 1980 and University of New York with her BSN in 1987. She practiced as a nurse for 30 years. She was previously employed at Clarksville Memorial Hospital in Clarksville and St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Upon her death she was employed with Care Fusion as a senior clinical associate. Mrs. Williams was a member of Central Church of Christ in McMinnville. She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law Elbert Lee Hudson of Walling.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charlie Williams; mother-in-law, Laurene Hudson of Walling; two daughters, Laura Lee (Ryan) Johnson and Julie Anne (Anthony) Adams; seven grandchildren, Coleman Edward Johnson, Reed Williams Johnson, Cooper Ryan Johnson, Taylor Hope Adams, Ethan Bryant Adams, Charles Grant Adams and Tripp Hudson Adams; siblings, Charles E. Doyle III of San Antonio, Texas, Lt. Col. James H. Doyle of Ocean, N.J., Mary Doyle Johnston of Las Vegas, Nev., Bill Doyle of Seminole, Okla., and John Doyle of San Antonio, Texas.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today in High’s Chapel with Ben Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Jericho Cemetery in White County. Visitation is today from 9 a.m. till the time of service at High’s.
