Edna Emogene White Williams, 84, died April 26 at River Park Hospital after an extended illness.A mail sorter with the Postal Service and a member of Campaign Church of God of Prophecy, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Willie Ann Hale White, and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Williams, and sister, Clara Free.She is survived by children, Vivian Shelton of St. Louis, Mo., and Carl Chesney of Portland, Ore.; four grandchildren; sisters, Geneva Ferrell and Virginia Bell, both of McMinnville, Magdalene Grizzle and Johnnie Belle Bouldin of Campaign; and several nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at High’s Chapel with Rick Lyles officiating. Burial will follow at Campaign Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High’s.High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
