Edith Bryan McDaniel, 96, of Warren County passed away Jan. 26 at her residence.

She was a resident of Birmingham, Ala., for around 40 years before returning to Warren County in 1981. She attended Morrison Methodist Church.

Mrs. McDaniel is preceded in death by her loving husband Melvin T. McDaniel of Arab, Ala.; parents, Jesse P. Bryan and Ella Jacobs Bryan of Warren County, four brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by son Carl McDaniel of Nashville; sister Dortha Igou (Houston); sister-in law, Callie Bryan; in-laws Tula Romine, Bonnie Wiekamp (Gerald), Barbara Riddick, and Delauris Spivey; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be in Arab, Ala.
