McMinnville resident and Overton County native E.A. Martin, 93, was born Dec. 28, 1921 and died Feb. 7 at Raintree Manor following a four-month illness.Retired from Southern Belle Milk Company, a United States Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Jessie D. and Dee Hogan Martin. He was married Dec. 24, 1945 to Lindia Hall Martin, who preceded him in death. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brother Dennis Martin; and four sisters, Vera Martin, Elise Stockton, Opal Martin and Orlena Stover.He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Junior Stembridge of McMinnville; three sisters, Madge Reynolds of Martinsville, Va., Eura Vaughn of Springfield, Ohio, and Ola Winters of Cincinnati, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.There will be no service or visitation at High’s.Memorial donations may be made to the Warren County Humane Society, the Viola Valley Rescue, or the rescue of your choice.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.) E.A. Martin, 93
