Dovie Mooneyham Walker, 102, of McMinnville passed from this life on Monday, Nov. 8, at her home.

Dovie was born Sunday, March 2, 1919 in Spencer, the daughter of the late John Mooneyham and the late Minnie Dodson Mooneyham.

Dovie is survived by her three sons, Brady G. Walker, Kenneth J. Walker, and Jeff Walker, three daughters, Shirley Bailey, Evelyne Bryant, and Judy Moore, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Dovie was preceded in death by her husband Alvin J. Walker, son Herchel Walker, and daughter Loretta Walker Malone

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home. Interment will be at Hebron Cemetery in McMinnville. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, and again Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.
