Douglas Wilson Moyers, 96, a McMinnville resident and Claiborne County native, was born Nov. 30, 1921 and died Jan. 28 in NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following a brief illness. Mr. Moyers was an avid reader and always kept up with the news and economy. After retirement, he and his wife, Nettie, traveled to all 50 states and capitals and every continent except for three.
