Douglas Edward Bond, 72, a Warren County resident and native, was born Oct. 1, 1945 and died March 22 at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. He was a retired employee with the Warren County Sanitation Department, member of the Baptist Church and son of the late Edward Owen and Dorothy Miller Bond. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Aubrey, Waymon and Eugene Bond; and sisters Irene Bain and Judy Roberts.
