McMinnville resident and Warren County native Dora Opal Mullican, 91, was born Jan. 8, 1920 and died unexpectedly Sept. 18 at her residence.A retired cafeteria worker with McMinnville City School System and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Callie McGinness Womack. She was married to William Haskell Mullican, who preceded her in death July 31, 1952. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, William Doyle Mullican; two sisters, Nettie Rigsby and Nona Foster, and three brothers, Lilburn, Bryan and Austin Womack.She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, James and Virginia Womack of Rock Island; sister-in-law, Maudel Womack of McMinnville; devoted caregivers, Fay and Brenda Miller and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services were held yesterday at High’s Chapel with Tony Lawrence officiating.
