Donnie Steele, 52, of Decherd, died Monday, Feb. 16, at his residence. 
He was preceded in death by his mother Lillie Kafer; brother Ronnie Steele; and sister Calamity Jane C.J. Hodges. 
He is survived by his daughter, Chynetha (Cody) Nabors of McMinnville; son, Zackery (Jeniffer Vernon) Steele of McMinnville; sisters, Effie Wimley (Jim) Neal of Belvidere, Betty (Doug) Stewart of Angel Fire, N.M., Maudine Parker of Decherd, Pamela (Joe) Owens of Decherd, and Vachel Lynn (Johnny) Owens of Decherd; brother-in-law, Bill Hodges of Decherd; stepfather, Ray Kafer of Winchester, four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held in the Moore-Cortner Chapel at 3 p.m. with Bro. Joe Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to Moore-Cortner Funeral Home for funeral expenses.  Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 First Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398, is in charge of arrangements.
